Things to Do at Heritage Park and Gardens

Whether you're looking to explore nature, dive into local history, or simply enjoy a peaceful afternoon, Heritage Park and Gardens offers something for everyone.

Enjoy the Gardens

Community members and tourists are invited to visit the park to stroll the gardens. In our gardens you will find a koi pond with fish feeder (bring quarters) along with picnic tables, benches, swings, arbors, statues and dedicated gardens maintained by service clubs and organizations for your enjoyment. 

Take Photos

Heritage Park and Gardens is a GREAT place for your special photos. Family photos, Prom photos, Baby announcements, engagement photos and much more are taken at our venue regularly. There is no fee, but we do ask patrons to share some photos with our Facebook page if they feel inclined to do so.  

Home Tours

The Crapps Mansion is rich in history. For a small see we offer private tours of the mansion which include historical facts and interesting bits of information. Call 386-330-0133 to schedule your tour today!

Host Your Special Event

Are you getting married? Having a Baby Shower? A Family Reunion? Graduation Party?

Disc Golf

We have a disc golf course! It's open daily from dawn to dusk. There is no fee for entry. Click Here for more information about the course.

Playground & Baseball

Heritage Park offers a large children's playground with tons of fun activities. In addition, we offer an artificial turf baseball field behind the playground for community enjoyment. Click here for more information about the park. 

The pavilions at the playground are available for rent through Suwannee County Parks and Recreation. Call 386-362-3004 to reserve. 

Walking Trail

Heritage Park and Gardens offers a paved walking trail for community use.  The trail head is located at 550 Howard St E, Live Oak, FL 32064. The trail weaves through Live Oak, all the way to 9628 109th Dr. Much of the trail is shaded for comfort.  

The Suwannee County Public Library has added a feature called "Discovery Trail." This feature presents patrons with books, learning tools, and interesting information about local wildlife. It's changed often to provide continuous educational opportunities throughout the year. Check out their website for more information.
